Project Overview
Ten Plus Architectural Products Ltd. engaged Endeavour Solutions to implement Microsoft Business Central Cloud as a replacement for their existing QuickBooks system. The project covered the full implementation lifecycle — from initial discovery and gap analysis through module configuration, data migration, training, and post-go-live support.
As the Lead Techno-Functional Consultant, I owned the end-to-end delivery, working directly with business stakeholders to understand processes, map them to BC functionality, and ensure a smooth go-live.

- Served as Business Central Lead Techno-Functional Consultant for the full engagement
- Conducted discovery sessions with business users to map existing QuickBooks processes to BC functionality
- Performed fit-gap analysis between QuickBooks and Business Central — identifying configuration requirements and custom development areas
- Configured core modules: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Inventory
- Engaged stakeholders through regular calls to ensure alignment on requirements and delivery timelines
- Analysed new business requirements, determined technical approach, and developed AL extensions accordingly
- Performed data cleansing, transformation, and validation before migration to BC
- Created functional and technical documentation for all customisations and configurations
- Provided training and knowledge transfer sessions to end users and the IT team
- Validated opening balances and delivered post-go-live support
Key Challenges & Solutions
- QuickBooks to BC chart of accounts mapping required careful restructuring to meet BC's posting group framework — resolved through detailed GL setup workshops with finance team
- Historical data migration from QuickBooks required custom transformation scripts to clean and reformat data to BC import templates
- Custom AL code developed for business-specific workflows not covered by standard BC functionality
